Airport transfers
There are no ride sharing services on Curaçao. The Curaçao Tourist Board recommends that you can take a taxi (there's a taxi stand just to your left when you enter the arrivals hall) or the bus.
We are also working with a local company to provide transfers from the airport to the hotel, which you are able to book for yourself if you choose. Please use this link to book your transfer.
Visas
Although most FC attendees will likely not need a visa, nationals of some countries do require a visa to travel to Curaçao. This (and other) immigration information is available here.
Practicalities
The power outlets at the conference hotel are of the standard "Euro" type with two round pins (type F receptacles for type C or type F plugs), and supply 220V at 50Hz. The hotel can provide plug adapters, but these do not convert the voltage. Power outlets in most of Curaçao are of the standard "US" type (Type A) with two flat pins, and supply 127V at 50Hz.
The currency used in Curaçao is the Antillean Guilder (ANG), also called the Florin. The Antillean Guilder's exchange rate is fixed to the US Dollar at a price of 1 USD = 1.80 ANG. You can use US Dollars everywhere in Curaçao.
This conference is organized annually by the International Financial Cryptography Association.
